A memoir of an unreligious girl going to learn midwifery from nuns in east end London. There are stories of the different situations and encountered as she worked among the poor people and at the same time from some answers to her questions about life

The show is better
Though she has such interesting stories to tell, she doesn't tell them all that well. Maybe I'll come back around to the rest of the trilogy another time.
