I started it (instead of reading my ring books I already had) and finished it in less than a day. If I could have sat for a few hours straight and read it in one sitting I would have.
This is Anne Bishop's new world: Ephemera. It is an amazing landscape and story. Sebastian reminds me a bit of Daemon from the Black Jewels Trilogy, but I love Daemon, so that is a good thing. The two main heroines, Glorianna Belladonna and Lynnea are wonderful characters. Ms. Bishop has another winner here. The writing is beautiful and engaging. Her themes of Light and Dark intertwining, which are seen in all her works, exist here as well.
If you have a chance to read this books, you should take it.
