It started off well, giving me a sense of adventure I haven't felt in quite a while. I think it reminded me of the books I read as a kid and teenager, because that's who it's aimed at, I realized later. It's an OK book. A bit too quick with advancements in the story at times, the protagonist a bit too lucky, the story a bit too cliched. But still a nice a read for a younger audience who are looking for mystery and adventure. I think younger me would've loved this.
