Marsha Woerner reviewed Death Runs in the Family by Heather Haven
Review of 'Death Runs in the Family' on 'Goodreads'
2 stars
I am generally plot driven; I read books for the plot, and the writing style is not that big a deal. BUT…
I found this author's style particularly annoying. She included far too many clichés, and she felt it necessary to explain all possible jokes jokes and double entendres. Seriously?
Aside from that, the overall story didn't seem to hold together very well. There were two or three subplots, but it wasn't 100% sure how they figured into the story. Overall, it was a kind of unsatisfying read :-(
