I think this is my favorite book of the series. Maybe because I relate to Mrs. Pollifax’ dilemma at the beginning. She’s feeling bored and jaded, and when she realizes how long it’s been since Carstairs gave her an assigment she wonders if she’s too old.
Once again she proves she’s got what it takes and then some, surviving a murderous imposter and an entire country’s police force intent on capturing her.
