Hack Your Bureaucracy

A large amount of good tricks and tips from people who practice them to get things done in prohibitive bureaucracies. Struggling between 3 and 4 stars, I decided on 4 since I did come away motivated to seek more opportunities to change things. However, a lot of the examples in the book beyond their actual experience are very mediocre and could have been left out. More than that, the nonchalance with which a toxic always-working mentality, Silicon Valley VCs and billionaires and backchannel deals which are the very reason our government is so messed up are proposed is at least irritating, in some places outright sickening. Ignore those for the essence of the book, and you will still get away with a strong toolkit to tackle the gatekeepers.
