This was actually the second book in this series I've listened to. [b:Optional Retirement Plan: A Science Fiction Thriller|48704324|Optional Retirement Plan A Science Fiction Thriller|Chris Pourteau|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1572894087l/48704324._SY75_.jpg|74054930] was the first, and I really liked it, so when the offer for this one came out, i was happy to oblige. While this book isn't as focused on Stacks Fisher as Optional Retirement Plan is, it's an excellent entry to building this universe. It has not too much action, plenty of space politics, and even a bit of a warm 'n fuzzy story for a downtrodden and abused housewife (didn't see that one coming).
