I had started this book a couple years ago, but got distracted by other titles - this time I picked the book up and started from the beginning.
Not only did I remember everything I had read previously, I found myself unable to put the book down. I read it in a single day and have just now finished.
I loved it. It had great action, suspense, and all the court room drama you could want with surly lawyers and annoyed judges.
My favorite aspect was how the book played Marc & Quinn against each other as foils, rivals and almost friends during their moments of understanding. Show-boating Vegas lawyer, and the down home country lawyer together to defend Catherine. It was worth reading to see these two play off each other alone.
And best of all, the ending caught me off guard. Half of it I had figured out, …

Overall, great book. :)
