Faszinierend, wie langweilig man über ein so interessantes Thema schreiben kann.
Swimming across the Bering Strait? Just looking at it on a map has always made me shiver. And sharks too! Such single minded focus, such drive, such a need to test the limits of the human body- and I would venture to add that Lynne Cox might be insane. Of course my standards are not anywhere near hers... I would be happy to swim a mile in a heated pool. I loved reading this book, and I greatly admire Lynne Cox. I am not usually one for athlete bios, but this book was much more. It took me a long time to dog paddle a mile without stopping.
