The Trouble With Jenny's Ear

Imagine that you can hear everyone's thoughts all across the world. This is what happens with 6-year-old Jenny. The book starts with out with little things, like how she's going to help win a spelling bea, but then she tries to do more things. Eventually it gets to be too much for her, and the book does have a happy ending.
The book does a really good job at getting us in to the head of a 6-year-old. It also helps us realize that money certainly isn't everything.
I also enjoyed the part of the book that had to do with the electronics of the day the book took place.
