So far away

This was the first Meg Mitchell Moore book that I've read, and based on how much I liked it, I'll be adding her to my list of authors to keep up with.
I did like both Natalie, and Kathleen. What I didn't like was how Natalie's mother never seemed to listen to her, because she was too busy ignoring her life by getting all doped up on Ambien.
I quite liked the fact that Kathleen had a really good relationship with her dog Lucy, and how she always did the right thing in the end.
The only thing I didn't like all that much about this book was the diary part. I didn't think that was all that realistic how the author portrayed Bridget.
