This book was a lot different than Ally Condie's Matched trilogy. I did like it quite a lot.
Rio, the protagonist was quite determined to get what she wanted, and I liked that.
It seemed that Atlantia was a well-thought out city, and I enjoyed reading about all the details of what the city looked like and such.
While I like romance in my books, I particularly appreciated that Condie focused more on the sister love more than the romantic love. This in my opinion was a breath of fresh air.
