I'm not sure why this book ended up in my reading list but since it was there and an easy read I read it anyway. It's a pretty light fluffy romance, the plot is ridiculous (ugly duckling wedding planner meets drop dead gorgeous but nerdy cop who for inexplicable reasons finds her irresistably hot and then moves in to help fix up her house and spy on her brothers who are wanna-be mobsters).
It was a bit cringey how she's described as having such an ugly face - big nose, bulging eyes - the author went way overboard trying to get this point across. But, meh, it's a romance, at least all the characters were fairly likeable and the sex scenes weren't entirely cringey so could have been worse.
