I found this a very odd book to read. The basic premise had a lot of potential but the execution was bizarre. I couldn't drum up much sympathy for any of the characters, making it difficult to care about what happened to them. There are also great swaths of material that seem to be reminisces of the author's semi-adolescent sexual fantasies that really contribute nothing to the plot and read like "filler". The writing itself is tight enough - it just seems like it started out as a short-story and then was padded out to make a novel.
The title also makes it sound rather light-hearted, which it isn't. I started to call it "Very Bad Plots".
