Better than the movie. This might be peak Gillen, there's a pubescent trickster, extremely unreliable narrator, unending layers of treachery, noble idiots that walk eyes open into every single trap, well designed pages full of extra bonus text and a grand disturbing twist that there's no easy resolution to. Esad's landscapes and figures are great (I'm guessing marvel require the Eternals all look like lingerie models) but his faces are often a bit hard for me to read. Overall a decent stab at telling a grand story with this pantheon, I'm intrigued where it goes next.
