I love Liv Strömquist. This is the second book of hers that I read, but I can already say I love her work. I'm going to read more.
This one is a series of smaller parts all revolving around one theme, one I'm very interested in lately: extreme wealth and its effects on the world.
Besides making some of the classic points I agree with, in her funny deadpan, Liv also managed to surprise me and bring forth concepts and ideas about the subject that I never thought of, or which were in front of me the whole time. The prime example is a great dissection of moralizing as a privileged western person and how that is both ineffective, but also often focusing on less important topics.
A difference in style from Prins Charles Känsla is that this one is, at times, a lot more shouty and intense. I think …

Overall, the book is entertaining, clever, well written and importantly contemporary.
