Review of 'The serpent king' on 'Goodreads'

Extraordinary. The dialogue is snappy a la Rachel Cohn and David Levithan and the characters have the depth and empathy of John Greene's best. But the setting and plot are unique, and the wrenching denouement makes the common of age part so much more poignant.
