Not terrible but not very good either. Kind of like how I feel about the Who. But I'll read just about anyone's autobiography or memoir. I'm kind of a sucker that way.
Pete Townshend seemed somehow lacking in feeling and empathy. I think maybe he has asperger syndrome. He came off as very dull and clueless and careless about the feelings of those closest to him, namely his family and band mates. If he wasn't going to bother to give real insight into his real self, not just the persona of Pete Townshend "rock star" why bother? Just blah.
