Review of 'I am Jack' on 'Goodreads'
This book covers an incredibly important aspect of navigating childhood and adolescence - dealing with bullying. I think the main coping mechanisms used in this book will be helpful for a child who could use some skills to help them navigate bullying situations.[return][return]The solution to the bullying in this story includes a grandiose plan - the whole school cracks down on bullying in one fell swoop. I don't think this is a deal-breaker for the book, just the weakest point.[return][return]When I take a step back and look at it, I think I would suggest this book for a child who is having problems with bullying …

The benefits far outweigh the weak points.
