Story of the Hundred Promises

As in when I started to read this I didn't remember what it was about or why I added it to my to read list. It was difficult to keep up and figure out what was happening at first. As we go through the story it evens out and is a great trip. And I love the ending.

It's a really pretty book. It's also very unconventional, and is trying to do a lot. I struggled a bit with the main character's voice, but also loved how the entire book reads like an extended fable. It meanders, which isn't a bad thing, but just be prepared to wander your way through it.
