Very good, though the switching between the current moment and Laymon addressing his mother makes it difficult to follow at times. Definitely worth reading and rereading. It's a powerful book.

I need to process this more but I can say I think anyone who has an opportunity to read this book should. Important, powerful, and beautifully written. Gorgeous prose.
