This is a lot like the other books The Jedi Path and the Book of Sith, but in the updated canon with the sequels (well, ep 7 and 8 anyway) and this is purely "written" by Luke himself. So for some it's redundant, but it's still a great introduction to to what and who the Jedi and sith are, their powers and abilities and a little bit of history.
