Travel writing - Canadian writer hitchhikes across Japan following the cherry blossoms, and writes the book of his adventures. It's an interesting look at Japan and amusingly written but not nearly as funny as his other books of a similar style (I Was A Teenaged Katima-victim is better). If you're interested in Japan already you'll probably like this, but I found I it a little slow at times.
