Jaelyn reviewed After Sappho by Selby Wynn Schwartz
Review of 'After Sappho' on 'Storygraph'
5 stars
A beautiful collection of narratives from feminists and sapphists across the 19th and early 20th centuries giving snapshots into their lives as they fight for their autonomy, personhood and freedom. It’s wonderfully written and bounces around these lives as fragments glimpsed with humour and cynicism.
