Review of 'The Case of the Damaged Detective' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
The character development of the Watson character was wonderful. He went from a disgruntled overly skeptical of people – particularly in his job to a dependable though cautious asset started to work with and trust his associates. It was truly enlightening to view his transformation!
The premise of the entire book was frightening and, although not realistic, certainly feasible! The individual circumstances in which Sherman and Watson got entangled were dynamic and robust. The whole situation had a subtle humor to it as well as a deep growing affection.
So far, there's only one other book in the series, and I look forward to the continuation.
