I've loved the other books I've read by Powers - Declare, The Stress of her Regard and Hide me Among the Graves.
But I found this disappointing and finished reading it with a 'so what?' feeling. The characters weren't really engaging, apart from Charlotte. Indeed I found it hard to remember which were Mossad and which were Vespers.
I also found that the internal logic of the time travel wasn't clear enough for me and that was annoying. May be I should have rolled with it more.
