Review of 'Anglo-Saxon Propaganda in the Bayeux Tapestry (Studies in French Civilization)' on 'Goodreads'

Meredith Clermont-Ferrand does an excellent job weaving in her argument about the Bayeux Tapestry alongside the historical context, which deals with various subjects including William the Conquer and the Norman Conquest. Even if this book is purely academic, Clermont-Ferrand manages to squeeze in some wit from time to time, making this exploration into the Tapestry's Anglo-Saxon bias a good one.

Disclosure: I served as a teaching assistant to Dr. Clermont-Ferrand during my final semester at Eastern (Spring 2014).
