Review of 'PEBBLE IN THE SKY (The Empire Novels)' on 'Goodreads'
2 stars
This one dragged me a lot.
But let me be clear: I'd give this 2,5 stars or a 6 out of 10, but Goodreads doesn't allow more nuanced ratings, so this rating will have to suffice.
The first third of the book is interesting and fun enough, but after a while, the story becomes just bland. I felt like reading a wannabe narrative for a Hollywood movie, and I didn't like it. Like I said, the set up is great, what follows is not. I understand that this is a part of a greater saga, but I really don't feel like reading any continuation.
