Pleasantly surprised

I’m both a lover and skeptic of fantasy series. I was very surprised by the world building and culture that the author invented for the story setting. It felt grounded in realistic-feeling human political issues. This is a low-magic fantasy world with generally dark themes. But I recommend it!
