I don't know for sure whether it was abridged or unabridged, but I expect it was abridged. It was a bit creepy, but it was kind of satisfying. Not much really to say. I did get the feeling that it was in fact abridged which is unfortunate. Now I'm determined to find an unabridged copy. Classic Lovecraft, though
