This novel provides a heartwarming, realistic, and unapologetic take on love, loss, family, and maturity. Where the futuristic segments didn’t seem necessary, they didn’t detract from the overall plot. The characters were exceptionally flawed but relatable and the plot was intriguing and easy to lose myself in. This is one of the better contemporary fiction works I’ve read.
