The definition of an easy read. I also spent a lot of time while reading this wondering what exactly the writing process was like. I don't for a minute believe Teresa wrote one word of this herself. I imagine she told her stories/thoughts to someone and they put it into something comprehensible, but I wonder if the ghost writer was subtly trolling her by being sure to make it clear how bitter Teresa is. There's a weird mix of feeling as though prison has changed her (I'm sure it has) and feeling like the system has done her wrong. For as much as she says she took responsibility, it's not really clear that she has. She says the words but she also says things that make it seem like she's still super bitter about it, bitter about Joe, bitter about the legal system, the list goes on.

Setting all of that aside, the content was interesting enough. I kind of like that she kept most of the stuff that happens on the show out of the book. The show is airing the events that happen in the last 80% of the book now and I don't feel like reading this was just reliving all of the things that had happened on the show.
Ultimately I think the amount you may enjoy this will likely depend on how much you enjoy Teresa to begin with. I can't imagine someone reading this if they weren't already a fan of Teresa or RHONJ. I picked this up because I wanted an easy read for the end of the year, and that's exactly what I got.
