This is actually closer to a 2.5 for me but it lost the benefit of rounding up because it ends on a cliffhanger. The thing is, I actually thought this was well-written, and the premise of people signing 7 year contracts rather than getting married was novel. Having every single hot guy Kate runs across fall madly in love with her while she just wants to be friends, did get tiring, and much of the book lacks a forward moving plot, but it was an easy read for a snowy sunday in bed.
