A mish-mash of complaints in no particular order: I wasn't able to connect to any of the characters, and found myself annoyed by at least half of them at some point or another. Even if I wasn't annoyed with certain people, I didn't understand why I was supposed to like them- Why should I like Vivienne if she's odd (not beautiful) and so shy she can't really speak? Am I supposed to feel sorry that Leah's mother isn't the most warm?
I wish there was more about the cupcakes, instead of everything else. There were so many people that I had trouble keeping everyone straight. And then what happens with Hannah's life in the end is predictable, but totally weird.
