Review of 'Electric arches' on 'Goodreads'

4 stars

I really wanted to love this collection, but for me it was "merely" excellent. I can't put my finger on it exactly, and I may have been a victim of my own expectations (I still give it 4 stars, it's really wonderful and everyone should pick up a copy), but it wasn't transcendent. And that's not a fair expectation to have.

Maybe it needs further readings to resonate with me, or maybe it won't. I'm 100% sold on Eve at least - she's the real deal.
