Review of 'The Buddha in the Attic' on 'Goodreads'

I liked the style of writing, the many voices of the narrative, the many different views and yet, just one witness who puts it all down without judgment or reflection.

Historical fiction. This book seems important to me like something we should never forget.

The adult themes at the beginning, (sexual activity presented as "taken" or "to bed with"), may be a bit over the top for sheltered or immature younger teens.

An enjoyable quick read.
I recommend this work to everyone but adult white American males who prefer a world filled with people just like themselves. I do not believe they would enjoy this novel, but the rest may enjoy and appreciate the perspective and significance.
