I really love that story. Really! It's a beautiful book about finding yourself, finding your home and about fate. The style of writing is incredible good, it's comforting to read it and at the same time you get so many different feelings with so little words. The stories from Gayle seem real. I'm a huge fan of "If I Stay"/"Where she went" - they belong to my all time favourites. I cried and smiled so much reading the stories.
The only thing I missed in this book was the love story between Willem and Lulu. I thought this book would start with Lulu finding Willem. It is not. What a pity! I mean - I love Willem's story and his way through the world but I did not expected it. The book cover is misleading. So what to do now? Loving and appreciating the novel as it is and hoping …
