Adding this while I'm thinking about book history romances--this is a great one. There's beekeeping! 1820s printing! Queer women and queer men and singing ballads and protesting stupid rich people! Truly, it's delightful.

Two middle aged heroines, and a deeper than just below the surface lesson on bees, made this such an enjoyable book. It’s one that I plan to read again.
