Solid two and half stars....
3 stars
So yeah, I don't think it's a finished story. Right from the beginning I could see all kinds of directions this could go. None of which it really went.
And in the end, it's just kind of open as to what happened.
So from where I stand, if it had more of a finish (even if it wasn't one I was thinking of) this would have been more complete and gotten more stars - I could see where (at least I thought) it was going. But I'm left feeling a little let down.
On the positive side, it's very short, more of an idea and a brain storming exercise. So it's a very fast read - even for someone that doesn't read a lot. It's easy to follow for the most part, and it's an enjoyable start to what I'm sure should have been a much longer story.

NOTE: Bookrastingating will not let me put a half star, so it gets a 3 star because I feel that is fair for this. But if I could give it a half star two and half would be what it gets.
