I'm listening to Attack From Within by Barb McQuade. Disappointed in her mispronunciations, for one thing, and she just mentioned the alien conspiracy theory about "Area 51, a military base in Roswell, New Mexico." Uhhh, Area 51 is in Nevada, you could've just looked that up? I haven't learned anything new from this book 3 hours in, but I'm always aware of the news & politics so I guess if I was a low info person this book would be an eye opener to some extent.

Returned A People's History of the United States by Howard Zinn, without finishing. So many people had recommended this book that I decided to try it. Latest read: “The Highly Sensitive Person in Love” by Elaine Aron on #libby

I think this really hit close to home for me. Less practical advice for how to live and adapt in relationships if you’re a “highly sensitive person”. There was also some interesting discussion on gender roles and sensitivity and how a “highly sensitive male” (HSM) feels less than manly in our culture and …. Yeah i have to think about that a lot and my ideas around my own gender and transitioning.
