I breathed in all the green around me today as if it was air. I paddled in the mountain stream and felt the cool, clear water. My ears were filled with birdsong and the rustling of leaves. I feel the deepest of connections to this place where I've lived all my life. I know it and I feel it knows me. To walk amongst these trees is to be amongst family.
