Fuck, and I cannot stress this enough, FUCK the New York Times.

Even in this both-sidesing, they're moving the needle towards the fascist by calling the calm "comparative."

This is why I keep saying to people in targeted cities: POST YOUR TRUTH. Because shitsheets like this will publish this crap.

FUCK the NYT.

Recently the website has been full of annoying autoplaying videos. At this moment, there are six autoplaying videos on the landing page, and three of them are in a special hashtag <nyt-betamax> which dodges the Firefox Disable Autoplay extension. (I just spent 15 minutes figuring out how to add a CSS rule to hide the element.) What is this about? Hasn't anyone told the Times that "pivot to video" was a scam?

Timothy Burke takes an incisive, illuminating look at how mainstream media ALWAYS treat stories of white men in the US — typically heterosexual ones — committing mass murder in the name of right-wing ideology.

His lens for the analysis is New York Times' report on Vance Boelter written by Dan Barry, Ernesto Londoño, and Ruth Graham.

Boelter, Ă  la New York Times, is, it turns out, complex, mysterious, an individual.

God damn, NYT!!! Can’t you get anything right?!? How about “ALLEGES” no evidence?

The entire world knows that this is a cover up. At least differentiate between claims and actual evidence!

To anyone still wondering if New York Times can disgrace itself even more than it already has in recent years, Dan Froomkin has an answer:

"The sad fact is that there is nothing terribly out of character about the New York Times’s decision to publish a deceptive hit piece about New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, based on hacked data supplied by a noted eugenicist to whom they granted anonymity."
