Overall I enjoyed the book. There were a few anachronisms throughout for example DNA information that would have required sequencing or zombie movies which wouldn't have been as prominent in the 50s.

I liked the characters although I the idea of Elizabeth's outsized influence on people but I think I would have preferred a bit more of a grounded story.
