Samantha Harvey, Sarah Naudi (Narrator): Orbital (AudiobookFormat, 2023, Penguin Random House) 4 stars

A team of astronauts in the International Space Station collect meteorological data, conduct scientific experiments …

Poetic, but not easy to concentrate

3 stars

A beautiful written book, and clearly a lot of research has gone into making it science based. I just found a little bit hard to wade through given that there is no real story, aside the intimate portrait of the astronauts - this is probably more a reflection of my reader skills instead of the author!

Forse la fine un po' troppo bella ma Teresa anche se un personaggio inventato se lo e' meritato tutto!

Did not get the irony at all

2 stars

Not because the scenario is impossible or the issue not to be discussed, but I remember mostly sex scenes and misogynist attitude from the main character which seem to justify the end point. Probably did not get the irony,

Silent Majority?

4 stars

Quite good overview in particular for the initial phase of Fascismvon how it deals with different historical but not well known characters. I felt later years were covered very quickly. I learned a lot and agree with the epilogue about "silent majority" as a danger to all democracies
