A bit of a dreamy excursion in story-telling, with some interesting Big Ideas about the environment, government priorities, the rights of indigenous people, and the cult of personality. I did enjoy the ride, although it may be more the liking of someone who is drawn to magical realism more than I am. Not the same caliber as Margaret Atwood, but trying to play in the same ballpark, anyway.
