The death of King Robert Baratheon and the imprisonment of his Hand, Lord Eddard Stark …

Review of 'A game of thrones, the graphic novel' on 'Goodreads'

I liked these well enough. Had I been better acquainted with the book I'd probably like it better. It does feel abridged sometimes. Like suddenly, war. I do have the book on my shelf and read most of it many years ago, but then got stuck and gave up. I'll have to give it another go and possibly take a few notes whenever I come across a name, because in the graphic novel I kept getting confused about who was who and who was in alliegence with who and related to who and so on. There are a lot of characters, and the abridged form doesn't help with that.
