Angrboda reviewed The Enchantress by Michael Scott

I don't know. I really don't. I liked book 1-5, but this last one? I just lost completely track of the story, and I rather suspect that Mr Scott did as well at some point.
The ending was anti-climatic and the Big Revelation wasn't all that surprising, really. I couldn't see how it added up to the previous five books, though. It all felt a bit contrived, and there are tons of loose ends just randomly dangling about.
Don't ask my why this book is called the Enchantress and Sophie being the title character. She didn't do anything enchantress-y that she didn't do in any of the other books. In fact I'm not even certain that the word 'enchantress' was ever used in it at all.
I rather thought this was a let down compared to the other five books.
