2 stars

Fifteen year-old Christopher, who has Asperger's Syndrome, tries to find out who killed his neighbour's dog and finds out a lot more about his family and self.

I don't normally feel the need to read books that are being hyped and in the top selling charts, but the story of the teenager with Asperger's syndrome looked fascinating. An very sound attempt to portray how someone with Aspergers' sees the world and copes with the sensory overload. His lack of exposure to things seemed a bit weak - never seen an escalator? I liked the fact that the parents were not particularly empowered but were trying their best for themselves and their son. A positive and realistic ending too.
