Michael Shermer: The Believing Brain: From Ghosts and Gods to Politics and Conspiracies---How We Construct Beliefs and Reinforce Them as Truths (2011)

Review of 'The Believing Brain: From Ghosts and Gods to Politics and Conspiracies---How We Construct Beliefs and Reinforce Them as Truths' on 'Goodreads'

Very dense, rich in information but with very little fun added to the narrative. I'm not a fan of this very dry scientific writing style.

I do feel like the books takes the magic from life a bit. Even though there are no gods, aliens, or valid conspiracy theories, I feel like Sterner could have softened the fall into the world isn't magic at all a bit.
