Review of 'Hollywood Homicide (A Detective by Day Mystery)' on 'Goodreads'
4 stars
So much fun. Day is very relateable - as in suspecting simply everyone. Like everyone. Poor tip line lady, actually.
It was obviously the first book in a series, with a lot of setting the scene - friendships, partners with unexplained backgrounds, how to amateur sleuth to make money, you name it, but that wasn't as annoying as it could have been. In fact it just balanced teasing further info without outright saying "But I'm not telling you just now."
